Mr. Segun Oloketuyi, a consummate banker with several years of banking and managerial experience, is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Wema Bank Plc. Until his appointment, he was an Executive Director, Skye Bank Plc with the responsibility for business development across Lagos and South-West directorates of the bank.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Nigeria (ICAN), Segun is a Second Class Upper Division graduate of Chemistry from University of Lagos. He started out in 1985 as an Auditor with the then Akintola Williams and Co. (Chartered Accountants). Segun has attended various professional and leadership training programmes in the course of his banking career. He is an MBA Alumnus of the Lagos Business School and the Advanced Management Programme of INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.
In October 2005, Segun was appointed the acting Managing Director of Bond Bank Plc during which he steered the bank through a successful merger process with Skye Bank Plc. Following the successful and hitch-free merger, he was appointed an Executive Director (Finance & Enterprise risk Management) in January 2006. He was also the Post-merger Integration Coordinator that worked with different integration teams and external consultants following the merger of the different legacy banks that formed Skye Bank Plc.
A 2007 recipient of the distinguished Alumni Merit Award of the University of Lagos, Segun holds the memberships of the Institute of Directors (IOD) and the Ikoyi Club 1938.

Ademola Adebise is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Lagos where he obtained a Bachelor's degree (Second Class Upper Division) in 1987. He also holds an MBA degree from the prestigious Pan African University, Lagos Business School.
As a seasoned and professional banker of repute with over 20 years experience, Ademola’s experience spans Information Technology, Financial Control & Strategic Planning, Treasury, Corporate Banking, Risk Management and Performance Management.
Prior to joining Wema Bank Plc, he was Head, Finance & Performance Practice in Accenture (Nigeria) and Programme Manager on a transformation project for one of the old generation banks in Nigeria. He also led various projects for banks which include Business Process Re-engineering, Selection & Implementation of Core Banking Application, Consumer Lending Transformation, etc.
A thorough-bred, resourceful and self-motivated personality, Ademola attended several training courses, seminars and workshops locally and overseas in areas such as Advance Selling (Munich, Germany 2008), Technical & Leadership (Chicago, USA and Johannesburg, South Africa), Competing in a Global Environment (IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Barcelona, Spain 2004), Credit Risk Management organised by Citibank (New York, USA 2003).
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria as well as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation & Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria).

Nurudeen Fagbenro graduated from the University of Lagos in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting (Second Class Upper Division). He joined Wema Bank as an Accounting Supervisor in 1986 and rose to become the Head of Foreign Trade in 1991. He is an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Nurudeen has held various strategic positions in the Bank amongst which are: Head of International Banking Division from 1996 to 2001, Chief Inspector (2001 – 2003), Assistant General Manager (2002 – 2003).
Whilst as an Assistant General Manager, Nurudeen was saddled with the responsibility of identifying/training of key management staff to take charge of future management of International Operations. He became the Deputy General Manager in 2003 and was drafted to manage the Commercial & Telecommunications and Institutional Banking Groups.
In 2005, he rose to become the General Manager in charge of Institutional Banking, a position he held until his appointment as an Executive Director in 2006.
Nurudeen coordinated the institutional integration of National Bank of Nigeria Limited and Wema Bank Plc. He has been exposed to various capacity building courses and programmes in Nigeria and overseas.

Moruf Oseni is an Executive Director on the board of Wema Bank Plc with oversight responsibility for the Abuja Bank, Public Sector (Lagos) and Advisory Services/Special Products.
Prior to his appointment as an Executive Director, Moruf was the CEO of MG Ineso Limited, a principal investment and financial advisory firm with interests spanning various sectors of the economy. Before MG Ineso, Moruf was a Vice President at Renaissance Capital, where he was responsible for DCM, ECM and structured capital markets origination and execution for Sub-Saharan African corporates. He was also an Associate at Salomon Brothers/Citigroup Global Markets in London and New York where he was involved in credit market origination and execution for European financial institutions. During his tenure at Citigroup, he was involved in the origination of various pioneering and innovative instruments across the debt spectrum. He commenced his career as an IT officer with Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Company (NLNG).
Moruf holds an MBA degree from the prestigious Institut European d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) in France, a Masters in Finance (MiF) from the London Business School, London and a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Moruf enjoys drawing, painting, football, lawn tennis, squash and table tennis.

Tope obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Lagos in 1984 and an MBA, Finance from Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT Business School, Lagos) in 1999. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
An accomplished banker with over two decades of industry experience, he had a prior work stint at Joint KomputerKompany Limited, Ibadan and Co-operative Bank Limited, Kaduna before he joined Wema Bank in 1987 as an Assistant Manager. Tope is a versatile and skillful professional with broad-based experience in different aspects of banking, including Information Technology, Operations, E-Banking, and Credit & Marketing. He was part of the technical team that spearheaded the computerisation of the Bank in 1988.
As Head of the Bank’s Information Technology and Systems, he brought his versatility to bear by successfully automating the Bank’s operations on the Globus Banking Software platform. Adebayo was in the vanguard of the strategic project team that implemented a seamless integration of the IT platforms of National Bank with Wema Bank Plc, following the consolidation of both banks in January 2006. He is a member of Ikoyi Club 1938 and enjoys reading and travelling.

Akinlolu Ayileka is the Divisional Head, Retail Bank of Wema Bank Plc. In that role, he is responsible for the Retail business of the bank and driving the development and implementation of strategic initiatives in Retail Products, e-Business & Payments and Revenue Collections functions in the bank.
Akinlolu joined Wema Bank in 2009, bringing on board his wealth of experience in Sales and Marketing. He had previously served as General Manager, Corporate Sales at Globacom Limited, Deputy General Manager, Consumer Banking Division at Gateway Bank Plc and as Assistant General Manager, Consumer Banking at Chartered Bank Plc where he was responsible for the development of various consumer products.
Before crossing over to the banking industry in 1999, he had worked in various capacities in the Sales and Marketing functions at Guinness Nigeria Plc. As the first Brand Manager of Nigeria’s premium malt drink brand, Akinlolu developed and launched Malta Guinness into the Nigerian market in 1990. He was also responsible for the re-launch of Guinness Foreign Extra Stout and led the planning and implementation of a series of strategic marketing initiatives leading to the successful repositioning of Guinness FES brand in the Nigerian beer market as Product Group Manager in 1992.
Akinlolu obtained the Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Jos and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Ilorin. He is a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, Member, Nigerian Institute of Management and Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

With over 20 years of Cognate Banking experience, Wole Akinleye is responsible for co-ordinating Business Development Activities in the Lagos Region of Wema Bank.
With a work experience cutting across all major areas of banking operations including Retail, Business Banking, Corporate Banking and Risk Management, Wole Akinleye was Group Head, Business Development, Lagos for StanbicIBTC prior to joining Wema Bank in 2009. At StanbicIBTC, he held at various times, the role of Regional Head, Retail & Commercial Banking in the Bank’s Lagos Island, Lagos Mainland and South-west regions.
A Fellow of the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Wole obtained his first degree in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University in 1989 and, subsequently, a Masters Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the same University. A widely travelled banker, Wole has attended several Senior Leadership Programmes around the world.

Musa Ahmed is the Head of the Abuja Business Group of Wema Bank and is responsible for developing the banks business in the Abuja Region.
Musa started his banking career with the then Chartered Bank Plc and later moved over to Access Bank Plc as the Group Head; Commercial Banking (Abuja). He also worked with Ecobank Nigeria Plc. as Regional Manager, followed by a short stint at Oceanic Bank Plc as Head of Multilateral Institutions and Diplomatic Missions.
An avid reader and a well-travelled sportsman who enjoys swimming, Musa has attended various courses, locally and overseas, one of which was at American Express Bank. He was also part of the Project Team on a funding initiative for the Paralysed Veterans of America.
A graduate of Business Administration from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Musa Ahmed also holds an MBA from the famous Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA.

An Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) from the Institute of Financial Services, United Kingdom, Fola Ajanlekoko is the Divisional Head, General Services Division of Wema Bank.
An experienced professional, Fola Ajanlekoko has over 25 years of Senior management experience in Banking, Real Estate, Public Sector and Manufacturing with various organizations including National Bank of Nigeria (UK office), the London Bourough of Southwark, StanbicIBTC Bank, CitiSolutions Financial (UK) ltd, Capetex Industries Limited, Nigeria and most recently UBA Plc. where prior to joining Wema Bank, he was Head of Financial Institutions mandated with deepening business relationships with all primary institutions.
A graduate of Physics from the prestigious University of Lagos, Nigeria, Fola has over the years, acquired invaluable and technical experience in Investment Banking, Treasury Operations, Institutional Banking, Consumer and Private Banking.
A keen golfer, Fola Ajanlekoko also holds an MBA from the University of Lagos and has attended various courses in Nigeria and the UK.

Wole Ajimisinmi is the Company Secretary and Legal Adviser of Wema Bank where he bears the oversight responsibility of proffering opinions on all legal related issues including but not limited to securitization of Credits bankwide. He holds an LLB Degree with honours from the University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria and a BL Degree from the Nigerian Law School.
Prior to joining Wema Bank in June, 2009, he was the Head; Legal Services Department of Skye Bank Plc, where he burnished his leadership skills, supervising the legal support provided for over 207 branches and 7 Regional Legal Offices. Whilst at Skye Bank, Wole managed the litigation portfolio of the Bank comprising over 200 cases in various High Courts and Appellate Courts, and was a member of five management committees of the bank.
Before joining Skye Bank in 2006, Wole was an experienced Corporate Lawyer with Prudent Bank Plc, designated as Company Secretary & Legal Adviser, with responsibilities that spanned legal and secretarial functions, credits, loan work-out, amongst others. At Prudent Bank, Wole led the legal team that implemented the successful consolidation of Prudent Bank Plc, EIB International Bank Plc, Co-operative Bank Plc, Bond Bank Plc and Reliance Bank Limited to form Skye Bank Plc. His responsibilities included supervision of the external solicitors who undertook the due diligence of the merging entities; procurement of regulatory approvals for the merger from Securities & Exchange Commission, Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigerian Stock Exchange, Corporate Affairs Commission and Court sanctioning of the scheme. Furthermore, he was involved in the Bank’s capital-raising exercise, whereby the Bank raised, through a combination of Rights Issue and Public Offer, a total of about N16billion. Preceding his foray into the banking sector, he had a short spell at Ernst and Young International between 1999 and 2000.

A graduate of accounting from the University of Lagos, Soji Jenyo heads the Business Services Division of Wema Bank.
Prior to joining Wema Bank, Soji Jenyo had held management position in various financial institutions, locally and internationally in key areas namely, audit, profit and strategy planning, manpower resourcing, business development ,operations and general management. He also worked briefly with Akintola Williams Deloitte – one of Nigeria’s leading accounting firms.
A fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Honorary Member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Soji Jenyo is a football enthusiast.

With over nineteen years of banking experience in Risk Management; Finance and administration, Credit Administration; Regulatory Compliance; Control and System Audit; and Structured Finance in Upstream Oil Sector, Mr. Monye is the Chief Risk Officer of Wema Bank plc.
He started his banking career with Nigeria International Bank Limited (Citigroup) in 1993 before joining MBC International Bank Limited (now merged with First Bank of Nigeria Plc), from where he joined Platinum Bank Limited (now Keystone Bank).
At MBC International Bank, Jude Monye was at various times, Head of Credit Administration; Risk Management and, the Upstream Oil & Gas Divisions. Before the emergence of Bank PHB in 2005, he championed the development and implementation of the enterprise risk management framework in Platinum Bank as the responsible Risk Officer. He later became the Chief Credit Officer in Bank PHB from where he was elevated to the position of, Internal Managing Director of the South Bank of Bank PHB in October, 2007.
Mr. Monye was a marketing Director with World Financial Group and has also worked with the team of hedge fund administration in Registration services for the United States owned State Street Bank and Trust Company (the biggest financial services provider for institutional investors)in Toronto Canada.
An exceptionally skilled banker, with a passion for Risk Management and a commendable track record of achievements in Risk Management and Business development, Mr. Monye is a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria; a fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration; and a Certified Mutual Funds Investment Analyst. He has at various times served as an executive officer of the Risk Managers Association of Nigeria (RIMA) and is a member of the renowned Global Association of Risk Professionals. Mr. Monye is a long serving member of the board of directors of Equipment Leasing Association of Nigeria (ELAN); and a former director of the Enterprise Development Scheme of the Pan African University.
Mr. Monye holds a B.Sc in Chemistry, MBA and M.Sc degrees from the University of Nigeria and Ibadan respectively. He is also a member of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and an alumnus of the prestigious Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. Dele Olaolu is the Regional Executive for South West Zone of the Bank. In this capacity, he is responsible for overseeing and driving business development in over a hundred branches in the South West.
With a B.sc in Banking and Finance, MBA and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Dele started his banking career with Assurance Bank Nigeria Ltd and later joined Commerce Bank Ltd where he headed several departments.
He later moved to OlusolaAdekanola& Co as a Tax Consultant and then, Spring Bank, where he sharpened his marketing skills as a Branch Executive.
Dele Olaolu joined Wema Bank as the Head of the Human Resources Manager in 2006 and was later appointed the Group Head, Remedial Asset Management Group where he performed exceptionally well before his current posting.

With over 10 years’ experience in the banking industry, Tunde Mabawonku has headed various roles within the Finance Group and other strategic functions in the banking sector. He started his banking career as a Credit Analyst in Chartered Bank and later moved to Zenith Bank as a Customer Officer.
He crossed over to Prudent Bank where he headed the Performance Measurement Unit and was the Deputy Head of the Financial Control/Strategy Unit. After various consolidations in the banking sector, Tunde was appointed at various times, Head of Performance Management, Human Capital Management and Financial Advisor Services Departments in Skye Bank Plc.
He joined Wema Bank in 2010 as the Head of Corporate Strategy and Planning, a position he has held successfully till January 2013 when he was appointed the Chief Finance Officer of the Bank with oversight function for his former portfolio.
A graduate from the University of Ibadan with a degree in Economics, Tunde Mabawonku is also a Chartered Accountant and has a Masters in Finance from London Business School.
