Wema Bank Mobile banking service is our latest e-banking solution that allows customers to monitor their accounts anytime, anywhere! It is convenient, cost effective, and secure means of gaining access to your account via SMS of your mobile phone.

    How do I use this service?

    It is very simple. Just fill our Mobile Banking Form and submit to the branch where your account is domicile, then you can enjoy our services by sending instructions using the text messages (SMS) feature on your GSM phone to Wema Mobile Banking phone numbers, then you will receive a response on your phone confirming the status of your request.

    To check account balance:

    PIN.Bal (retrieves the current balance of all your accounts)
    PIN.BALANCE (retrieves the current balance of all your accounts)
    PIN.BAL.account no:(retrieves the current of the specified account)

    To get last 5 Transactions

    PIN.TRA (retrieves the last 5 transactions of all your account
    PIN.TRANSACTION (retrieves the last 5 transaction of all your accounts)
    PIN.TRA.Account no (retrieves the last 5 transaction of the specified account)
    e.g 9999.TRA.111258

    To get exchange rates

    PIN.RATES

    To change your PIN

    PIN.CHA.NEW PIN

    e.g 9999.CHANG.8888 (which changes your PIN to 8888)

    Guidelines on sending messages (SMS) for the service

    PIN: Personal Identification Number (4 digits)       

    Delimiter: A character used to separate different segment of the SMS text.  It is currently set as “period” (.)
