  • Chief Sam Bolarinde

    Chief Samuel Bolarinde is the Chairman,Board of Directors, Vitafoam nigeria plc(formerly a Unilever Company), where he rose to the position of the Managing Director/CEO until his retirement in 2002.


    In recognition and appreciation of his numerous invaluable contributions towards the growth of the company and having served in various strategic capacities including but not limited to Production Manager,Technical Director,Chief Samuel Bolarinde was appointed the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company-a Position he holds till date.


    Chief Samuel Bolarinde was educated at john Dalton College, Manchester,England where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Chemistry and thereafter preceded University of Surrey(England)where he holds a Masters Degree in Materials Engineering.He equally obtained other certificates in Corrosion Engineering,Adhesive Technology and a Diploma in Physical Metallurgy. A Boerdroom icon who has traversed various terrains of business landscape,Chief Samuel Bolarinde is a Boardroom player who also chairs the Boards of Orion Shipping Company Limited and CalyxStockbrokers Limited.He is also on the Board of UAC of Nigeria Plc,Consolidated Breweries Plc,Toyota Nigeria Limited, Sunlink Petroleum Limited and Alpine Investment Services.


    As a pioneer council member of Standards Organisation of Nigeria(SON),Chief Bolarinde is currently a member of council of both Manufacturer's Association of Nigeria(MAN) and Nigerian-Britain Association among others.He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations(NIPR).


  • Segun Oloketuyi, Managing Director/CEO

    Mr. Segun Oloketuyi, a consummate banker with several years of banking and managerial experience, is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Wema Bank Plc. Until his appointment, he was an Executive Director, Skye Bank Plc with the responsibility for business development across Lagos and South-West directorates of the bank.


    A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Nigeria (ICAN), Segun is a Second Class Upper Division graduate of Chemistry from University of Lagos. He started out in 1985 as an Auditor with the then Akintola Williams and Co. (Chartered Accountants). Segun attended various professional and leadership training programmes in the course of his banking career. He is an MBA Alumnus of the Lagos Business School and the Advanced Management Programme of INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.


    In October 2005, Segun was appointed the acting Managing Director of Bond Bank Plc during which he steered the bank through a successful merger process with Skye Bank Plc. Following the successful and hitch-free merger, he was appointed an Executive Director (Finance & Enterprise risk Management) in January 2006. He was also the Post-merger Integration Coordinator that worked with different integration teams and external consultants following the merger of the different legacy banks that formed Skye Bank Plc.


    A 2007 recipient of the distinguished Alumni Merit Award of the University of Lagos, Segun holds the membership of the Institute of Directors (IOD) and the Ikoyi Club 1938.

  • Ademola Adebise, Executive Director

    Ademola Adebise is a graduate of Computer Science from the University of Lagos where he obtained a Second Class Upper Division Bachelors Degree in 1987. He also has a MBA from the prestigious Pan African University, Lagos Business School.


    As a seasoned and professional banker of repute with over 20 years experience, Ademola’s experience spans Information Technology, Financial Control & Strategic Planning, Treasury, Corporate Banking, Risk Management and Performance Management.


    Prior to joining Wema Bank Plc, he was Head, Finance & Performance Practice in Accenture (Nigeria) and Programme Manager on a transformation project for one of the old generation bank in Nigeria. He also led various projects for banks which include Business Process Re-engineering, Selection & Implementation of Core Banking Application, Consumer Lending Transformation etc.


    A thorough-bred, resourceful and self-motivated personality, Ademola attended several training courses, seminars and workshops locally and overseas in areas such as Advance Selling Course (Munich, Germany 2008), Technical & Leadership Courses at Accenture (Chicago, USA and Johannesburg, South Africa), Completing in a Global Environment (IESE Business School, University of Navarra, Barcelona, Spain 2004), Citibank Credit Risk Management Course (New York, USA 2003).


    He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria as well as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation & Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria).

  • Nurudeen Adeyemo Fagbenro, Executive Director (Risk Management & Control)

    Nurudeen Fagbenro graduated from the University of Lagos in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (Second Class Upper Division). He joined Wema Bank as an Accounting Supervisor in 1986 and rose to become Head of Foreign Trade in 1991. He is an Alumnus of the Lagos Business School and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).


    Nurudeen has held various strategic positions in the Bank amongst which are Head of International Banking Division from 1996 to 2001, Chief Inspector (2001 – 2003) while as an Assistant General Manager (2002 – 2003) he was saddled with the responsibility of identifying/training of key management staff to take charge of future management of International Operations. He became the Deputy General Manager in 2003 and drafted to manage the Commercial & Telecommunications and Institutional Banking Groups.


    In 2005, he rose to become the General Manager in charge of Institutional Banking, a position he held until his appointment as an Executive Director in 2006. He managed Institutional Banking Group till June 2007, a marketing facing directorate that handle customers’ transactions request in excess of business turnover of N500million.


    Fagbenro co-coordinated the institutional integration of National Bank of Nigeria Limited and Wema Bank Plc. He has been exposed to various capacity building courses and programmes in Nigeria and abroad.

  • Chief Ope Bademosi, Non-Executive Director

    An astute businessman of repute, Chief Ope Bademosi (the Lotin of Ondo Kingdom) is a co-founder and director of Stanmark Holdings Limited, a company involved in the importation of production materials for pharmaceutical and paint companies. Owing to his business acumen, he is instrumental to the joint venture between Stanmark Cocoa Processing Company Limited and Cadbury Nigeria Plc in the processing of cocoa seeds into semi-finished products and also involved in the mobilization of human and financial capital for the project.


    A 1977 graduate of the University of Lagos, Chief Bademosi. His experience spans business & project management, clearing and forwarding business, consultancy services (oil services companies), importation & exportation and facilitating entrepreneurship development programmes.


    He is a Board Member of notable companies in Nigeria some of which include Stanmark Cocoa Processing Company Limited, Energy Work Limited and Lansear Transport Limited all of which divers services to reputable retail and corporate organizations.

  • Adefioye Adebode, Non-Executive Director

    Adefioye is an alumnus of the University of Lagos from where he obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Chemistry in 1983 and two years later became a Master of Science degree holder from the same citadel of knowledge.


    He started his career with John Holt Plc and rose through the ranks to become a General Manager from 2000 – 2002 having held several management positions. He served at different levels and sections in the company with his experience covering Production & Quality Control, Personnel and Administration before opting for an early retirement in 2002 and has since engaged in business and public service.


    Currently he serves on the board of several limited liability companies like Cereem Investment Limited, SW8 Investment Limited, IBK Services Limited and Spectrum Ventures Limited to mention a few.


    As a member of the Ikeja Golf Club, he is an avid golfer, serving the golfing communities in different capacities.


    Adefioye is a notable member of the Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria.

  • Dr. Ayo Akinyelure, Non-Executive Director

    Dr. Akinyelure is a chartered accountant (1990) and an executive revenue consultant. He is a managing partner of a number of notable financial and tax consulting firms that serves both the private and the public sector (state and federal levels) in Nigeria.


    He is an honorary doctorate degree holder in Public Administration from All Saints University (ASUA) New York, having obtained a Masters Degree in Managerial Psychology from the University of Ibadan. A Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria, Institute of Payroll Administrators, Dr. Patrick is also an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.


    A man with passionate philanthropy, Dr. Patrick is involved in investment worth over N300 million in the educational sector as he has provided academic succor to many young minds as his personal community development contribution. He also commands other investments in other sectors to the tune of about N250 million.

  • Prof. Taiwo Osipitan (SAN), Non-Executive Director

    Taiwo Osipitan is a distinguished professor of Public Law from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) where he also graduated with Second Class Upper with LL.B (Hons) in 1981. He proceeded to the London School of Economics & Political Science where he bagged his LL.M. with distinction in 1982.


    He started his teaching career immediately after his NYSC with the Law Faculty of UNILAG where he made his mark as an esteemed lecturer until he rose to the professorial chair in 1998. A resource person in constitutional, criminal and insurance law amongst others, Osipitan was appointed a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) in September 2002, a position he holds to date.


    Prof. Taiwo is a member of various financial and legal professional bodies both in the public and private sectors - the Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce, Institute of Chartered Accountants ICAN, Nigerian Institute of Banks, Nigerian Institute of Insurance, International Bar Association to mention just a few.
